300WSM range time

Got the 300WSM out a little today. I kinda have a personal goal of working with the 200's. I have tried MAGPRO, RL22 and something else, which I can't remember right now, but it seems RL19 works pretty well.

65.5 RL19 CCI250's and 200 PT (2830, 2826, 2849, 2830)

66.5 RL19 200 PT (2880, 2873, 2858)

67 RL19 200 PT put out great speeds of (2902, 2889, 2905, 2908), but I think I have a scope issue... Anyhow, I am very happy with the RL19 and 200 PT. I think upper 2800's with the 200PT is serious HP.. Gotta look a closer at it.. I think it's got alot of promise.

My buddy also ran a good ladder with RL19 and 165 AB's. Great shooting combo. Ended up with a good 3 shot group, but we missed a reading on the chrono, and decided to put a 4th into the group, still, very good overall though.

70 grains of RL19, CCI250, 165 AB (3067,3066 and the 4th shot 3075)

I was also able to run my load of 77 grains of RL19 and 210 PT from my 338 across the chrono. Ran 3056, 3060, 3055, 3063, 3056, 3036... Very happy with that load. Kinda rushed shooting as it was getting late, but it shoots better than I can when I am on the gun..

That all looks pretty skookum. ReLoder 19 has worked well for me with 200 grain bullets; and it looks as if it is producing quite well for you. Good stuff, Scotty. I do agree that a 200 grain PT at 2800 is serious horsepower. There isn't much that could stand up to that.

Yeah, the little 300 is coming around some. I think it is coming together pretty well. Should be even better when Nosler drops their 190 and 210 ABLR's. Thinking those two could make the 300WSM even better. I have alot of room in the magazine for long bullets, so it'll be fun working with them. Data looks good as well.

Went back out and shortened the seating depth

Seems like it is getting a little more consistent at the shorter depths. This was also 67 grains of RL19.

I figure I might as well work up a good load for the bullet, never hurts to have a good PT load on the books.

It's coming along. Looking at trying the 190 or 210 ABLR's when they hit the streets. Should really be something for the 300WSM.. Make it look like a WBY with one of them slick bullets!
