Loaded up some Sierra SPBT this morning. This Ruger has been very finicky but adding a grain of powder and seating out an addition .020 seems to have taken a 1 1/2" loaded to this.

Small adjustments can equal major gains, as you have demonstrated. Excellent work!
 
That kind of success is what keeps us reloading :wink:!
I am always playing just a bit to see if I can get it just a little bit tighter :mrgreen:.

Nice shooting and a nice looking rifle.
Have you thought about trying CFE223 or maybe IMR8208XBR. Both were designed around the 223 and 308. Burn rate for 8208 is right around the same for Varget and 4064 but CFE is a little slower than R15.
 
I haven't tried either powder but am certainly open to the idea.
Will have to look for some on my next trip to town.
