30TC-info?????

Looking for INFO regarding the 30TC cartidge- I think would be a good basis for custom wildcats-
Does anyone has loads for the 30TC- with 150gr. and maybe 168gr Matchkings?
Any Custom around for the 30TC by now?
Maybe a tactical in 30TC.-
Info will be appreciated.-

What little I know about this round I would not be interested. To get the velocities Hornady is using powder not avaliable to the reloader. (Hornady said it will not be released to reloaders) Besides that, it is just a .308win with a shorter O.A.L.

If you wildcat the .30T/C you will just end up with shorter version of the.... .243win, .260rem, 7mm-08, .338federal, etc... without the velocity of the parent .308win case. The .30T/C has 20% less capacity then the .308win cartridge.

I could be wrong (sure wouldn't be the first time :lol: )

CZ, look at the 30BR or 308x1.5Barnes if you want less than a 308. The 300 Savage is another good round.Rick.
