I'm trying to duplicate the 200 gr. AccuBond factory load from winchester. Do they use w760,w780 or something else? Any other suggested loads would be greatly appreciated!

H-4350 has given me the best results in accuracy, consistency and velocity with the 325WSM. I have come close to published velocities using the 200gr bullets. Over my chronograph, Olin hasn't reached it's published velocities either but very close.

Most factory loads use a non-canister powder that is tested from lot-to-lot. I do know that the 243 Win, 270 Win, 280 Rem, and the 7mm Rem Mag use W780 in factory Winchester Supreme Ammo. Most WSM's are loaded with a version of WXR or WMR that is not available to the public.

I am wanting to try W780 in a few cartridges, but given Winchester's history of dropping powders every few years, I am hesitant. Maybe with them being under the Hodgdon umbrella, that trend will come to an end.

I wish I would have stuck with the 325 a little longer. Since I have one 300WSM that shoots 200gr Partitions at 2900fps and good accuracy, I saw little need to hang on to the 325 once I was done with my "experiments."

When you are shooting the Winchester ammunition, are you able to get 2950 fps with the CT AB? I shoot 200 grain PTs in my 325 WSM, using H4350. It gives me excellent accuracy, and more than enough velocity to take down moose and elk. I have shot ABs with IMR4350 and RL19, both of which come within spitting distance of the advertised velocity of the factory ammunition, and yield good accuracy. I have also had good success with Big Game and ABs, though I have not used any of those loads for hunting.

My factory load - 200gr. A/B chronos at 2892 out of a 24" barrel. The powders I have on hand are H414,BLC-2, Hunter and Varget. I wish I could find some H4350,IMR4831 or even some 4007SC. I'm thinking the Hunter or the H414 will be my best bet till I can increase my inventory. I thought it curious that Hodgdon loading guide says that many good .308 powders work well with the .325 and lighter bullets. Thanks much for all the input!
