Thought you 338 fans would like to se some pictures of recovered 225 gr PT's that were shot from my 338 RUM.
Test media was water jugs.

Those look pretty darned good Jim. Probably pretty hard to beat the 225's in the 338WM. I know I can run them almost into the 2900 range, and that offers alot of energy and good trajectory. Those in the RUM are a laser. Scotty

Jim I didn't think we were allowed to post provocative photos here. Those get me all sorts of excited! Would hate to be on the recieving end of one of those bad boys!

Looks awfully picture perfect to me. I will have to give them a try, after I get the 210s worked up...

Thanks for posting Jim.

Jim, I run those 225 PT's in the .340 Bee and they shoot accurately and fly really well to 500 yards. They only shed about 200 fps/100 yards. Starting out at 3080 fps (at 10 feet), they still have over 2000 foot pounds of energy at 500 yards.

I agree! At 3100 fps, this bullets hits hard and shoots flat. Great bullet for the fast 338's.
