I just ordered a Remington 700P in .338 Lapua and I am going to use it for Elk hunting. What would the best factory made ammunition to use?

Welcome to the forum.
The 338 Lapua is a great round. Factory ammo is limited. As TScottW99
said, good time for you to get into reloading.
Nosler has announced a .338 cal 250 gr AccuBond for 2008. The BC is .575 so you will have the makings of a long range hammer for elk.
I'll bet you will have yourself a shooter too, M700 always get great accuracy. Post some pic of the new rifle when you get it.

1 piece of advise from an avid Weatherby shooter.

Take up handloading soon. Cheaper and you shoot what YOU want.

Then load up some 225 or 250 Accubonds and be done!

POP..........you are exactly right. I shoot a .340 Wby and the little woman shoots a .338 WM. With the 225 or 250 Partitions or Accubonds you are good for just about anything you will ever want to do with them and that would obviously apply to your Lapua dwmslu.

Is there a place on the Rem site where I can see this 338 Lapua version?

What is the upcharge over a regular chambering round, I hear they had to make mods.

What is the street price if a "street price" exists yet.

This rifle with the new 260Acc looks wicked to me.

Another option would be the 275 grain Swift A-Frame loaded by Lapua, although it will run you close to $130 per/20...
