The 338 Lapua is a great round. Factory ammo is limited. As TScottW99
said, good time for you to get into reloading.
Nosler has announced a .338 cal 250 gr AccuBond for 2008. The BC is .575 so you will have the makings of a long range hammer for elk.
I'll bet you will have yourself a shooter too, M700 always get great accuracy. Post some pic of the new rifle when you get it. :wink:
POP..........you are exactly right. I shoot a .340 Wby and the little woman shoots a .338 WM. With the 225 or 250 Partitions or Accubonds you are good for just about anything you will ever want to do with them and that would obviously apply to your Lapua dwmslu.
