338 Lapua with LRT

The boy brought his Savage 112 MT over today to see what I could do with LRT. A couple weeks ago I bedded the recoil lug for him.

Loaded Federal brass using Fed 215 and Nosler 300gr CC. Results from my Magnetospeed.

I left my seating die set as I use for my Savage 112. I run 98.5grs of RL-33 in Lapua brass giving me 50fps more.
Loaded up the box at 98.5grs of LRT for him

Looks like a flat spot between 98 and 98.5. Is he using those for target or hunting? Those bullets have a lot of mass, good for thumping whitetails.

For him it’s just punching paper. These bullets shoot outstanding in my 338L , I’m sure they will do the same for him.
