338 Win @ 225 AB

I just started a load with Reloader 19 and Fed 215GM primers and Nickle WW Cases with Nosler 225 AB for this years moose hunt.......does any one have suggestions?

I currently am using 70.5 grains of RL-19 for close to 2,750 FPS, and around 1", 3 shot groups at 100 yards. I am shooting a Browning A-Bolt, Stainless Stalker, with a 26" barrel.

Are you using the 225 AB?

I am using a Win 70 Stainless Classic.

Yes, the 225 AccuBond. It's a decent load, but I am getting a lot better group sizes out of the 225 Barnes TSX. The TSX is shooting consistantly around 3/4" groups, and out of the .338 that is saying something!

The TSX Barnes suppose to be the most accurate bullet Barnes has made. If I were going after the Brown Bear that is bullet I would try to use........what is your COL with the 225 TSX.

Try working with the COL, you should get better accuracy.
I am getting .5 MOA with the 225 gr AB in my 338 RUM.

I settled with 72.5 of RL 19 with the 225 AB in Nickle WW Cases and Fed 215GM primers.........I beleve I could still add more powder to the case no signs of pressure.......the more I went up the better the accuracy.

This is a 95% density load!
