338 Win Mag ?

Anybody getting close to 2800 fps with 250 gr bullets out of your 338 WM and a 24 inch barrel ?

I get 2760 out of my 26" brl. But that's counting the BOSS. It actually has only 24" without it. I'm useing WW brass. WLRM primers.& 71gr. of H4350. That load was developed with moly coated 250 Sierra Game Kings. I've now switched to 225 Accubonds now,& push them to 2900.

I get 2800fps using H4831, note my rifle has a custom barrel and has had the throat opened up so it takes more powder than a factory gun. My fav. load is 78gr of H4831 for 2960fps and accurate with either partitions or accubonds of 225gr weight.

Reloader 19 @ 75.1 with 225gr AB and IMR 4350 @ 71.5 with 225gr Barnes TSX

I am getting 1" groups @ 200 yards.
