I'm finding that unlike the 35 Whelen the Ackely Imp likes slower burning powders to achieve greater performance. That's one of the reasons that CFE223 works with the 200gr AB in the Ackely Whelen.
Is Power pro 2000MR in QL for the 35Whelen Ack Imp and if so could some one run a Ql for for it? 225gr AB actual H2O cap 76.13gr 3.395" OAL and 24" barrel.
I don't know and can't find where 2000MR fits in the burn rate scale but I'm thinking something between CFE223 and RL17 should work very well with Heavier bullets in the AI cartridge, especially if it's a small cut or ball powder that will uniformly fill the case.
