35 Whelen's for those looking!

That Dakota would just be perfect for you Scotty. Then, you could jettison that nasty old CDL!

Looking at the prices for the Ruger's you posted here Scotty shows that the 264 WM in the classifieds is a pretty good deal, can't believe no one has snagged that one yet. There are still some Ruger No.1 35 Whelen's floating around, thought hard about them but won't suit what I need in a hunting gun but they sure are nice for someone that doesn't hunt wet, rugged terrain.

Dr. Mike, those CDL are the working man's rifle. If you install the Remington clip system in them they are a real work horse
It is killing me  not to have my new 35

Blessings,
Dan

Dan,

I got an update on your rifle yesterday. The boys in the back tell me it is taking shape. It appears as if it will be a shooter.

Re: The Dakota

If the Boise Gun Company is selling it you can be assured that the same rifle will cost much less elsewhere. They do carry very nice stuff, but they are really proud of it. !!!

You guys got me interested last year. I didn't find anything around here so
I dropped my Rem 30-06 off in January for the makeover. Barrel is in but waiting for the stock. Can't wait

Good move, billbam. You're gonna' love what you get. What barrel and what stock you using?
