Good evening my friends in north america. I just purchased an old model Remington 700 Mountain rifle in 350 Rem Mag caliber, yesterday I had a chance to test a target of our farm and we were really delighted that my hunting partner and me. The bullets we tested were some of the same company factory Remington Core Lokt 200gr and 250gr. The group is best achieved under the 250gr of which was 1.1 "MOA at 100 meters. The purpose of this rifle is to make hunting a little dangerous in my country, where we can hunt water buffalo Jaguars and water completely wild state.

I charge you, that I can recommend you gunpowder? The point that I intend to use is the large 250gr Nosler Partition. Let me give you opinion of this fine caliber. Facin me because it is a great short magnum large diameter. Well I hope your answers so that I can help. Many greetings to all from Venezuela, the country of the world's most beautiful women, jejejeje. 8)

Congratulations on acquiring a fine rifle chambered in an excellent cartridge.

I have had very good success with Speer 250 grain SP and W748. I have even better success with Woodleigh 250 grain RN and W748. Both loads use CCI250 primers. In the Woodleighs in particular, the ballistic data is superb and the groups are good. Having said this, I really prefer Nosler 225 Partitions with A2015 or Sierra 225 SBT with IMR4320. The weight is just right for this original short magnum. I have also had very good success with Barnes 225 TSX and either IMR3031 or IMR4064.

When you have worked up a load and at last had opportunity to drop a water buffalo, give us a report with some pictures.

DrMike. Thanks for your answer, which you use to load the tips of 250g with the W748?, I too possess some of that gunpowder stored in my closet, which use a lot for the 223 Rem and 308 Win with great success.

I use 56 grains of W748 with the Speer 250 SP and with the Woodleigh 250 RN (SN) I have loaded hot, over the maximum suggested by the current iteration of QuickLoad, which lists a maximum charge of 56 grains of W748. The load with the Speer is taken from the Speer Manual and is under the maximum listed (57 grains).
