Anyone loading/shooting this combo? What velocities are safely attained out of a 24" barrel....If I move on purchasing a 375, this is another bullet/load combo that has me intrigued.

Never tried that combo - but I've had no trouble running the 260 gr Nosler AccuBond to nearly 2800 fps, with published load data.

I settled on an easier-shooting load at 2620 fps, and it's done just fine for me.

The .375 is a real peach to load & shoot.

FOTIS,

that is quite the varmit gun you have there!

If the 250 grain does not kill the rock chucks, 113 grains of slow burning powder sure will!

Jeez, what a combination!

Never tried that particular combo either. Don't have much reason to use monolithic bullets. I have pushed 250gr Sierras to 2800fps out of a 23" barrel without bumping the top. Made my longest shot on a live animal with this load. It wasn't a chuck but it was a varmint. A group of us go to south Texas quite regularly to stand hunt hogs down those long senderos on a trophy deer ranch. We started calling coyotes when the hogs weren't moving as they don't get much pressure. None of us were experienced callers but the coyotes didn't know that and they came to rabbit calls like they were late for Thanksgiving dinner. I wasn't calling but a buddy was in a stand about 1/2 mile away and a coyote came out in the open and froze listening to his call. I hit him a little far back but the 375 was enough gun and that Sierra about cut him in half. I couldn't range him before the shot as the sun was behind him. After the shot I walked out and ranged it back to the stand @ 458yds. Don't let anyone tell you the 375 H&H doesn't have reach or can't be used on smaller targets. ;-)

That's some impressive shooting with a .375, out at 458 yards!

Congrats, nice shot!

Guy

I got lucky. I knew he was well past 400 and didn't think he was 500 and split the difference. Had a good scope and way more time than a coyote usually gives you. The trajectory isn't much different than a 180gr 30-06 load.
