For a decade I've used 69 grains of RL-15 with the 260 grain Nosler AccuBond for 2650 fps & good accuracy.

Right now I'm short on RL-15 and long on Varget.

In the past I've used RL-15 and Varget at similar powder charges to produce great 308 Winchester loads. They seemed nearly the same. I don't know if that means anything re the 375 H&H though.

Suppose I could use Varget to built good 375 H&H ammo?

Thanks!

Hmmm, answered my own question with a quick look at the Hornady manual. They show Varget with 250, 270 and 300 grain loads. :)

I don’t think you’d see much, If any difference Guy. They usually run the same in about any cartridge.

Oh - thanks for running that Scotty!

Ya, I wasn't seeing Varget and the 375 H&H in many manuals, or online... But, a quick look at the Hornady manual reassured me. I've got a bunch of Hornady bullets in 375 also. :)

I can’t see it being anything but just as good if not better due to a little better temperature stability.

GlD I saw this, found some Varget in my cabinet now I’ll die something with it!

Cool. :)

The Varget loads in the Hornady manual look pretty good.
