375 Rem Ultra Mag QL

I've never asked for a QL advice before but I'm desperately wanting data for @ 270gn Barnes TSX and Reloder 26. After plenty of searching, it appears data on this combination is non-existant.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I’ve had really good luck with H414 in my 375 RUM. I’m getting 2952fps and great accuracy out of that combo.

It seems like re26 would be a tad slow for the 375 RUM

When I looked at the Quickload data supplied by Tackdriver284 I thought my 375 Rem Ultra Mag would perform very well using RL26, especially as it appeared to be the top performer in terms of velocity. I knocked up a few loads using 270gn Barnes TSX and 100gns of Reloder 26 and tested them on the weekend. The 5 shot average produced a velocity of 2795fps which was a bit below expected. In fact, that load was around 100fps slower than what Quickload suggested which was surprising since my rifle has a 25" barrel - one inch longer than what the data is based on. In saying that, there is no harm in trying something different just to make sure all bases are covered during load development.

Previously, RL19, H4350 and RL17 have all given me velocity over 2900fps with the 270gn Barnes TSX with loads that are 2-3gn below max. So it looks like I'll probably continue with those powers.

For those interested, I tried some reduced loads using 200 FN and 65gns of H4895 for a 5 shot average of 2350fps and milder recoil, a lot milder.
