Shooting a T/C Contender 375 Winchester, I recovered a Sierra 200 gr FP in the 5th jug. MV is around 2000 fps. The bullet expanded to .705" and weighed 191.0 grs.

It doesn't get any better than that. Should be just the ticket for deer and black bears for you.

What is your max range with this gun Jim?

I have to finalize the load and run the numbers but I think it will be a 200 yard hammer on deer.

That is fine performance of that bullet, Jim. Results like that make me sorry that I sold my last .375! I may have to look for another.

Dang, that bullet looks great Jim. Plenty of expansion there. That should make a mess out of any buck!

Used same bullet in my Contender....for lack of a picture the two deer I killed with mine looked like you threw a golf ball threw them.

Good to know.
I plan on using this load this year and will be striving for a "Hole in One".

Having harvested a number of moose and black bears, and my first caribou with the 375 Win, out to 130 yards, with the 220 gr Hornady and 200 gr Winchester bullets has worked great. Your 200 gr Sierra should provide similar performance. Makes me want to carry mine more!

I have a Marlin in .375 but I've only loaded and shot Hornady 220's out of it. I only have one Whitetail doe to its credit but always thought it'd be great for some black bear hunting. I may have to try and find some 200 grain Sierras since the Hornadys seem extinct now.
