I've seen a picture but as of yet don't have one I can up load. The Bull was killed this morning by a friend of mine. Mt. Emily is the Oregon elk hunting unit Bill hunts. Rack sports 10 x 9 points. Hopefully I can add photos tomorrow.

I want to see it. I did not see a big bull this hunt, of course I wasn't there very long.

I'm sending the photo to Fotis as I can't get it to load. The bull my neighbor shot was green scored in the field by a friend at 420. Certainly some bias but still a monster. We don't yet know if he is dropping the head and horns at the taxidermist or coming home first. I hope he comes home first.

I can't wait to see this brute  ! Anything over 380 is a monster.

Blessings,
Dan

HERE HE IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is quite a headgear! Was he shot in the head? It looks as if there is a wound anterior to the right antler. Still, a lot of antler growth displayed!

Ok, saw the Bull tonight. For those that worry about such he grossed 434 6/8 nets 423. 11 points on right antler, 9 on the left. In answer to Dr. Mike, he was not head shot Delwyn had started caping the bull when a camera arrived.

I tried to add some scale the rifle is my 338 Jarrett with 26 inch bbl and 2 inches of brake. The bull was taken with a 300 bee/180 gr. factory ammo. Range was a little over 400. The hunter passed on a 370 and a 350 both of which were killed by other hunters.

Dang.....that is an amazing bull! And that unit is about a half hour drive from me. Too bad it takes so many preference points to draw a branch antler tag.....

I am overpowered, I have never seen a horn configuration like that one. What a tremendous animal, congratulations to all involved. He is magnificent.

What a bull! Man, I'd love to know where he was taken in the unit. Been over a bit of the country and am really impressed such a monster was there. Congrats to the Hunter.
