Went too the range yesterday and it looks like I have a load worked up for my 444P guide model.

40 gr of RL-7 with a 265gr Hornady interlock with a CCI LR primer with an OAL of 2.555. It's not a barrel burner, but it's printing a 1 1/2 group at 100 yards

I tried H4198 and IMR-4198 with less than mediocre results before trying RL-7.

My 444P loves the LeverEvolution ammo. That is a 25c coin shown and it is a 3 shot group at 100yds. Scope is a 1.5-5 Leupold.

Very nice, I will be shooting my 444 Marlin pretty shortly. RL7 is pretty high on the list of powders since that is what I use in the 45-70. I will probably try out the Hornady 265, Speer 270 or 300.. I will be running peeps on the 45-70 this year, so I am not expecting huge accuracy, but I think it should be fun.

Great shooting. Looking forward to see some of the groups. That 444P is a very sweet rifle!

Leverevolution ammo shot well out mine, I may try H322 at some point too see how it performs.

H322 also worked well. H335 rocks with the 300-350 grainers
