444 Marlin

Would anyone have Sierra data for the 300gr? I have quite a few and just wondering what a good powder would be to try first.

Every time I think about the 444 Marlin I think of the fellow back in WV who brought in this HUGE buck to be checked in that "his daughter" had killed that day during the "YOUTH ONLY" deer season. The deer had a pretty good size exit hole from a perfectly placed heart/lung broadside shot. I asked what rifle did she use. He said his 444 Marlin. I just rolled my eyes at that. His daughter was a 6 year old. Sure buddy, she killed that deer was what I said to myself.

My pleasure sir. My first lever ever and my favorite. I do have many more from 30-30 to a 45-90 and just about everything in between but I love the 444.
