I got some rounds loaded up 500gr Nosler Part. and some 300gr RN Silvertips. The 500’s are loaded with RL-17 and the 300’s with BL-C2. I know the Silvertips look silly but they were cheap at SPS awhile back. I did touch off 2 Silvertips out back ,but with the windchill in the -30’s this morning it was cold. I’ll wait for warmer weather to see how they work. On a side note these are loaded in Norma brass which I found weigh more than the Weatherby brass. I weighed 8 of each and it came out like this : Norma 319.7gr ave. Weatherby 308.9gr ave. , and for the heck of it 8pcs of my 3x 30-378 Weatherby brass 308.8gr ave. Go figure.

Thanks for the info guys, I'm going to give them a try since I don't have a need for the premium heads and can save a bunch of money.

Yesterday it was a balmy 27 so I went and tried some more for the 460. First up was 300gr RN BT with BL-C2 , I did reach 3100fps 
Next I had some more 500gr Part. with RL-17 I did make it into the 2600 fps with no issues , still could go a little higher but I’ll stop here
I did have 3 extra 300gr RN BTs loaded at 121grs of BL-C2 and took the magnetospeed off and shot a group but the story of my day one out

Today I shot a couple of groups with the 500gr Nosler Part. along with the Horandy loads I posted earlier. First up is 113grs of RL-17 
this load matches up to Quickload’s barrel time.
Next up was 115.5grs of RL-17
which looked good from earlier load work up. These are 3-shot groups and the third one is always out for me , although this is a lot of rifle I can’t complain much. Now I’ll have to see how well these work when we warm here this spring and summer.
