What exactly is this round? And is like the hornet in performance?
Will it be good for pest control/plinking and some varmit hunting?
 
This is the round for the P90 PDW (personal defence weapon), Yea, you could use if for pest control, but at $1300+ for either the rilfe or pistol, I think i would find a lower cost solution. In addition, ammo can be a little difficult to find, and expensive when you do find it. In addition, FN will only sell certain rounds in the U.S.
 
Just wounder if it would be usefull and if we would see it offerd in the future. Looks no more effective than the 22WMR.
 
I would hate to reload for it. I picked up some FN 5.7 brass the other day a guy was shooting who does not reload. Figured if I saved enough of it I could sell it :lol: itty bitty stuff.

Most velocity figures you see are for 10" barrels. If you had a small 16" or 18" carbine you would pick up some velocity. Would be good for plinking and varmint shooting if you don't mind reloading.
