I was wondering how it was accomplished that the 55 grain BT Lead free has a higher BC (.288) then the standard BT (.276) even though it has a much longer bearing surface at an over all length of .950" compared to .787" of the standard BT and the fact that it does not have a Boat-tail. Seems to me the longer length with the same weight would provide more bearing surface to be pushed by the wind. Was it a different style ogive or something?
