I know this isn't the correct thing to use for high angle shots, but you gotta admit it's a good picture. One of my buddies and my brother were getting rid of some pigeons that were infesting an old barn and crapping everywhere. The tool was a 243 w/55grn NBT and no there isn't anything loacated behind the barn except swamp.

That's feathers, a wing and a little bit of pigeon tissue.

Hehehe, gotta love the Varmint NBT's.

Isn't that excessive meat damage? Switch to the e-tip!

Wow, thats a nice shot. Too bad we could not get a high speed camera shot on that to see it in super slow motion. I think that would be realy interesting, probably gross too.

I do that to crows with a 55 gr. V Max in my .22-250 & all I get is a puff of what looks like black smoke 8) Great photo, jtoews80

And THAT boys is why Dad only let us boys shoot at pigeons with air rifles. If we'd have had a rifle like that back then we wouldnt have EVER gotten any work done! WAAAAAY to much fun. Course it was also easier on the barn roof if we missed. CL

Doesn't look like the barn cats will get much out of that one.

jtoews - you need to take your brother on a prairie dog adventure!!!

At my friends's farm where I do all my deer hunting, the electric wire from the pole to the barn has 3 splices in it where his dumb brother hit the wire instead of the pigeon  You can bet he made his brother pay for all repairs

coming from a family of four brothers and two sisters there is always something going on.

I think the most memorable would be the matchstick war from pellet guns at about 11 years old, followed by a total ban on anything that shot for about a year. We used up 2-500 packs of strike on anything matches with the wood sticks in about 2.5 hours......

Lots of gopher hunting, fishing trips and alot of WT deer hunting. The best of times with my family, that stuff is priceless. I was there for all three of the younger brothers first bucks. @ 180, 40 & 185yds....
