That's a shooter!

The 6.5 Creedmoor is on my short list for the Green Machine if and when I retire from police work.

Great shooting!

I am real interested in the Creedmoor. Since I already have a 264WM and a couple 270's I haven't yet bought one. Thinking that will be temporary though. I love accurate, light recoiling, efficient rounds. I will likely own one in the next few years. My wife has been considering getting her own rifle instead of using mine, and I showed her the Savage lady hunter rifle in the 6.5 Creedmoor. She likes whitetail and antelope hunting and that should be a fine rifle for either.

If my Creedmoor wasn't 10 and half pounds it would be my main hunting rifle. It is ridiculous all the way out to 600 yards. With the 28" barrel recoil and muzzle blast are very low.

I really enjoy this cartridge, stock up on brass though because no telling when you might get more from Hornady.

Mine has an 8 twist barrel which should be geared for the heavier bullets, but the 100 grain BTs shoot the best out to 200, then they fall off too much and the custom competition 140s really shine.

Awesome shooting Gene! That 6.5 CM is really a super performer. Whats the muzzle velocity on a 140 AMax?

Great looking pictures buddy!

...rifle is a Browning Long Range Hunter, 1:8 26" med. heavy fluted barrel, about 9.5#'s loaded w/ scope, stock factory, the only thing I've done to it is lighten the trigger to 2.5#'s. The 140gr. A-Max are running just over 2800fps MV, just about everything else I own is "magnum", wanted a "popgun" to play w/, so far, so good...

That's about as cool a pop gun as it gets Gene. I like it!

I hear Cabela's has this caliber on sale for 499.00 if they have any left on the racks? In a Vanguard S2 in store purchase only  1-8 twist as the website says 1-9.5 which has been verified a typo! BTW those vagrant's on your range can be taken care of with a 1/4 bore & sharp BUCK but some 40 weight gravy would be mandatory
