I got an e-mail from Hornady indicating they may have a 6.5mm Interbond on the horizon. I thing the bonded bullets would perform well on game up to and including elk in the .260. Which would you choose in a perfect world if Nosler made the AB in this caliber?

The AB is great. I had a complete pass through with a .30 cal on a deer.

The IB is great also. My son also had a complete pass through with his 30-06 using 150's on a big mulie.

For penetration on elk the Nosler Partition is still a better bullet and I personally would prefer it over the bonded bullets.

The Bonded bullets are also long(er) so if I had to pick a weight for elk I would go no more than 130.

All said, I dont think a 140 NP can be beat by any bonded bullet.

I also hope that Nosler wont let their competition get the jump on them in 6.5 bonded bullets as their competetion cant make bullets as accurate.
