6mm 85 gr Partition
I have a .244 Remington with a 1-12 twist and am thinking of using this bullet for deer.
I'd like to hear pros and cons from people who use this bullet.
I might try the 95gr Partition also but don't know if the 1-12 twist will stabilize them.
I used the 85 Partition to hunt antelope with last fall but didn't get to see the results. I'm sure it will work great on a deer through the ribs. They grouped about an inch for me. The 95 would not work in my slow twist barrel on the gun I had at the time. It may work in yours and would be better at longer ranges than 300 yds.
