This morning I took 3 rifle out and left impressed. First up was the 375 Wby with its new scope and 250gr TTSX.

Next was the 340 Wby with HBN coated 250gr Grand Slams.

The last was the 35 Whelen CVA Scout with 225gr BT.

I left there feeling pretty good this morning.

I would say that any of those loads will hunt for you. Nothing wrong with that set!

Thanks for the positive reviews guys👍. We don’t have a crop damage to say in our area. My rifle picks for this coming deer season are the 257 & 460 Wbys loaded with Hammers. These might be next years picks.
As far as the 375 Wby that Shilen barrel eats what ever I throw in it.
The 340 Wby is my choice to try HBN coated bullets in. There is a learning curve with lead tip bullets and HBN , a shout out to Joec7651 for helpful advice. I have 3 bullets for this rifle Barnes 225gr TTSX , 250gr Grand Slam , and Nosler 300gr CC.
The CVA in 35 Whelen will only shoot Nosler 225gr Ballistic Tips. I have some 250gr Hornady’s that needs help.

Excellent! You have those rifles singing.
Really like that 375 Weatherby.

Those will do!
Definitely inspiring, and generates a great feeling of accomplishment, not to mention the confidence when using such accurate rifles in the field!
