Let me start by stating that I have never hunted with anything other than a Partition or ballistic tip in my .270 Win and 7 mm Rem Mag, but I have a box of 100 120 grain Hornady Hollow Points in 7 mm. Any suggestions for use? Any load recommendations? I was thinking this might be a good coyote round. If not, any ideas on how to swap them out for some Nosler bullets (which I prefer)???

Thanks,
Mark

Its only one box of cheap bullets. Just load them up and practice this spring with them. Try to cut a coyote in half.

Look up loads on powder mfg sites.

I agree with Savage 99. I wouldnt rely upon them for anything larger than a coyote. Those are designed to have explosive type expansion and even if slightly reduced velocity from the 7mm Mag speed it will not give satisfactory results upon even small thin skinned game animals such as antelope. No I would load them up for coyotes at around 3450-3500 and use them for practice this spring.
