7mm 162 AMax

Here are a couple bullets from Jason Miller. All I know is they are 162 AMax's. I am sure he will be along to tell everyone the specs of the load and such.

Not bad performance. I prefer to see the core and jacket remain intact, but it would still work to take down game. It will be interesting to hear the story.

Scotty, I ran an Amax into the jugs yesterday too.
Mine did not seem to fair as well as yours.

I set it on the scale and recall it to be in the mid 40 grain weight range.

I've seen it do a number on numerous elk too. If it makes it 2 1/2 milk jugs that's about 15" of penetration and all hell breaks loose between 1 and 15". Lungs are like chunky soup. They aren't good for poor shot placement or angles but you hammer them in the vitals and it's over quick.
