Glenn and I have been getting ready for WY-SHOT the past couple of weeks, and I think we have ran 10 different bolt action specialty pistols that last couple of weeks.
Both rear-grip and center-grip.
Today we had paper at 100 yards, as I did a little load development with a rear-grip 6.5-284. I have more work to do with that still.
I also confirmed my 100 yard zero on my Christensen Arms rear-grip 6GT. 6GT was spot on with two shots touching at 100 yards, then I ran steel at 300 (10"), 400 (10"), 510 (12") yards, 625 (12") yards, 900 (12") yards, and then 1010 (16") yards.
It just shoots so good.
Glenn shot his 223 Remington rear grip, center-grip 22 Creed, and center-grip 6GT all the way out to a grand. I also shot Glenn's 223 Rem at 900 and 1K.
A week or so before that, I zeroed at 100 yards, checked MV, and confirmed at 500 yards with my loaner pistols: Two rear-grip 6.5-Creed, center-grip 6.5 Creed, and a center-grip 6mm Creed. Of course, Glenn had to shoot each of these at 500 yards too. Glenn also had out his 6.5-284 center-grip earlier, and today I shot his center-grip 284 Winchester with 162 ELD-M's. He has 5 rounds with and I guess drops at 300 and 500 yards...3-hits at 300 and 2-hits at 500 yards-It was my day to look good. I guess that is over 10 SP's.
