A week ago Friday we finished setting up steel for WY-SHOT.
Our specialty pistol shooters will be engaging steel from about 175 yards, to out past 1450 yards :)
That was not a typo.
After Dan and I moved a couple of targets that were hard to see, we set-up the longest one.
We went back to where the trailers were, and I ranged that target and it was 1502 yards.
Well, I grabbed my center-grip (sub 16") 22 GT XP-100, and the fun began.
We both connected on that target multiple times.
Afterwards, Dan said, "That is the farthest, I have ever hit steel with a 22 center-fire."
I paused and said, "Me Too!"
I hadn't even thought about it, till he mentioned it.
It's just drop and drift...
I didn't take pics.
Here is the 22GT from late summer last year.

Shooting at those distances amaze me. I was hoping you were going to say that those woodchucks came out as you were shooting at 1,500 yards and you guys popped them.
