I've been checking SPS several times a day looking for some 7mm 140 AB's. Still no luck Anybody have any insider trading info they wouldn't mind sharing to let us know when some might show up?

Thursday is the day to check for new stuff. They do occasionally sprinkle in some goodies on other days but seems like Thursday is the best to check.

I'm not sure what you are shooting them out of, or at, but I have used both the 140 AB, and the 160 AB for elk out of a 280 AI. There is a very noticable difference in the game reaction, and penetration that favor the 160 AB. The 140 would be just as ideal though for deer sized critters I would think.

I'm already shooting the 160's out of my 7x57 and .280, these are for a youth model 7mm-08. And yes your are correct, the 160's get great penetration. I used the 7x57 on my Africa trip this past spring. I recovered one from a gemsbok that maintained over 70% of its weight.
