7mm mauser, 150gr Nosler BT ( powder wt. rec)

Hi All!
I'm looking for a powder wt recommendation for a Nosler 7mm 150gr BT to be used in my 7 x 57mm (mauser). I really like using Varget powder and would appreciate any info.

Mike,

I have never loaded for the 7mm Mauser but I would think RL19, RL22,
IMR4350, and IMR4831 would be the powders to look at. Of these, start with RL19 and IMR4350.
I have had very good accuracy in several calibers using the Alliant powders.
I have also have very good consistancy with Federal Gold Match primers,
GM210M.

What do you plan on doing with your Mauser and the 150 gr BT's?
You may want to also look at the 140 gr and 160 gr AB's. You have lots of options available for your chosen caliber. Its an oldie but a goodie.

My 7x57 like AA4350 and the faster powder Norma 203-B with bullets from 140grs - 150grs.

So try out the IMR4350, I can´t go wrong :wink:
