Any of you all ever used any of the old Bitteroot Bonded Core bullets? I always heard great things about them.

I sold the last package of Bitterroot Bonded Core Bullets at the gun show here in Dawson Creek this spring.

Dang, have you ever used them Mike? I have never even seen one, but there are some folks that really believed they were one of the best out there.

I remember reading Bob Hagel's books and he mentioned them quite alot.

I have used the Bitterroot 180 grain (?) bullets in my .300 H&H but it has been so long ago that I can not remember much about them. However that itself is a good sign, as I would remember if they were not good bullets. As I remember, accuracy was adequate but not great.

Don't know that they were any better than the bonded core bullets we have available today. I believe there is far more consistency in the AB and even in the IB or the Scirocco bullets available to the hand loader today.

The more pics I see of those mushroomed A-frames, the more I want to try them out!

They are some nice bullets SE. Swift makes some quality bullets.

Those A-Frames look great, I also have a box of them. I fired three of them a few years ago to check my zero. They are 250 gr. ,.358 loaded in my Whelen. I would sure like to shoot something with them.

I just ordered some 156 gr Norma Oryx, gonna run one into the jugs at +/- 2950 fps, gonna see how well it stacks up with the rest of them :)

I have (3) boxes of Norma Oryx, 180 gr .30-06 factory loads. They group under MOA in my .30-06 and appear to be a good premium bullet just as they claim.
