It's not a Nosler bullets but I load for a friends .300 Win Mag and the 190gr BTSP Hornady over 73grs of H4831 is outstanding, simply outstanding in is Encore. I used Win Brass and a CCI 250 Primer.

I am a Nosler addict......That is a fact. But I adore Hornady. In fact I have killed more game with Hornies than any other bullet.

That 190 bt is my favorite 30 caliber Hornady. I used it in all my 300's and my 30-06's.

LOL, never heard them called Hornies, that's awesome. :)

The velocity from the 26" Encore was 2938fps 10" from the muzzle.

The guy bought the bullets to go elk hunting, I tried to talk him into 180 NPT's or 180 AB's but they were too expensive, so I told him I would order the 190 Hornady's based on reding reviews. They were crazy accurate.

I like that 190gr HDY. That is kind of my back up if I can't get some others to shoot. I would like to load tonight and hit the range tomorrow and see what the rifles do. Scotty

I loaded the 64, 65 and 66 grains over the 160's and the 66gr loads shot really well. So did 65. Both of the groups were about the same. I am going to try and get out there today and get my 200 dope. I am probably going to take the new WBY with me to Idaho, so hopefully the Abonds due the trick. Anyhow, thanks for the help. Look forward to giving some hunting feedback. Scotty

I just finished shooting the 160gr Accubonds and 66gr's of R22 with CCI250 primers. I seated them to a length of 3.375, which fits nicely in the magazine and seems to shoot pretty consistent 3 shots into an inch or under. I am pretty happy with the load and know it will get better as the barrel breaks in further. I still have not set up the chronograph, but it seems like a solid, full power load. I zeroed it 3" high at 100 and it is shooting touch higher than that at 200. My 200 yard groups were about 1.5 inches if I stayed on the gun. Overall, I am pretty happy with the load. Scotty
