Again, for maximum velocities, Varget is not your best choice for a propellant.

Thank you so much Dr.Mike for taking the time to help me with this data .Varget just isn't the golden child that I thought it might be in this small case just not enuff case capacity for it .

Just wondering if anyone has tried any of the new powders that alliant and hodgdon has out in the 7mm tcu ?

loads or exceeds maximum suggested loads as presented in current handloading manuals. Understand
that all of the listed powders can be unsuitable for the given combination of cartridge, bullet
and gun. Actual load order can vary, depending upon lot-to-lot powder and component variations.

Dr.Mike do any of the reloader series of powder show any better fps.?

My instinct tells me that you will run out of case before you get quicker loads. Rl15 is about as good as you'll be able to do.

Hmmmm. Looks like a major screw-up on my part. I've never made a mistake in my life. I have been momentarily confused a couple of times.

Try this as an alternative.

IMHO, the 120 gr BT would be a great bullet choice for the 7mm TCU. The higher velocity will help with expansion and flatter trajectory.

Having trouble with accuracy with the 120 's I tried the hornady 120 ssp bullet they just weren't long enuff my barrel has a really long throat .Had some 140 nosler bt they will cut bullet holes at 100 yards just got a box of 120 nosler bt in going to give them a try but i'm afraid there going to be like the hornady's my gun just won't group good if the bullet has to jump over .010.
