145 or 150 grain speer hot cor does very well at 7-08 velocities. Problem is speer seems to make even fewer bullets than nosler anymore. killed two elk last year with the 7-08 and 150 ballistic tips, one at 40 yards and one at 420, perfect both times. Need more ballistic tips...
