Thinking about this round. Please tell me everything you know about it. Thinking about building a deer rifle for hunting where shots of 400-500 yards are possible.

DrMike: is the R905 the Rottweil powder?DrMike":1bjxjgou said:I have used:
150 grain E-Tip with 72.5 g. Retumbo and WLRM
150 grain Swift Scirocco with 62.0 g. H4350 and WLRM
160 grain Swift A-Frame with 70.0 g. RL25 and CCI200
160 grain CT Fail Safe with 65.5 g. R905 and CCI200
Each of these gave me sub-MOA accuracy and velocities that were well within expected range.
My working loads are:
160 grain AB with 69.0 g. MagPro and WLRM
160 grain Sierra HPBT with 60.0 g. H4350 and R 9 1/2M
160 grain PT with 65.4 g. IMR7828 and WLRM
Each of these give me accuracy measured between 0.3 MOA and 0.6 MOA. I can attest that these will readily bring down a deer, doing so quite smartly.

Wasn't aware they are available in your area. Here they are quite expensive, but good qualityDrMike":1rmiy0vs said:noslerpartition":1rmiy0vs said:DrMike: is the R905 the Rottweil powder?DrMike":1rmiy0vs said:I have used:

Yes.
We have major problems with some US-powders due to a EU Regulation. They are off the market
