8mm Remington Magnum 200 AB Loads

I am about to start working up loads for 200 AB. I know every rifle is different, but looking for recommendations for a powder and charge to start. Load development is not fun with this gun, so if I can save my shoulder a little punishment.

I can't speak to the 8mm Rem Mag but my Savage 325 WSM really likes the Nosler 200 AB with 64.7 gr of RL-17 and CCI 250. 2910 fps, ES 7, SD 4 with a .457 3-shot group at 100 yds. No fluke, as this was repeated on two different trips to the range.

I would give a look into Nosler's manual. See what they list as the most accurate powder, COAL, primer and start from there. Seems like 7828 and RL22 are really good in the big 8. Good luck with your bench work. Very cool cartridge.
