This might be fishing, as this forum has a bit different flavor than those shooting steel matches, but I've found the insight/advice here, some of the best on the net. Can't hurt to ask right?

A buddy and I have been getting into shooting local steel matches and want to find a good reliable basic load. We'll be shooting 2-3 matches a month with 2-3 weekends practicing. (It's good to live in AZ!)

We're both shooting CZ Custom shop SP01 Target Shadows if it matters...

Anyone have any experience with 'high' volume reloading and good steel match loads? USPSA limited division.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I shoot steel once a year at our annual BBQ/Shoot.

I've found that in my 9's.... a 124 grain RNL on top of 4 grains of Universal works best out of my pistols.

The pistols are 3 Browning BDM's and a S&W 3904.

Shooting steel plates is not problem.....but shooting ground mounted Poppers requires a Double Tap to knock them over.

I prefer the Round Nose Lead bullets to Semi-Wadcutters because they seem to feed better in all my 9's.

Not sure this helps...... but tis all I have to offer.
