I did a ladder test and my rifle shoots the same from the top step to the ground. Am I missing something here? :lol: Dan.

Nope! That's the way I do it. :mrgreen:
 
Yep! It's to test your shooting ability. I would find an old rickety wooden ladder and repeat the test just to be sure.

Well, you need to provide more info if we are going to help you. Was it a fixed length ladder, an extension ladder, or a step ladder? How many steps in the ladder and what was the spacing of the steps? :)
 
It would take a mighty tall ladder before altitude has any effect on your ballistics!
And don't forget to adjust for inclination if your rangefinder doesn't adjust the range for you automatically!

And if you shoot all the rungs of your ladder, then I would say you are dialed in!
Just don't try to use it again as it may not be safe! LOL
