Ran into a few Mule Deer bucks this morning while doing a six mile hike with the dogs. They have potential but I think I would give them another year. Then I ran into this Angus Bull. I’m glad he was on the other side of the fence. He saw me coming from about 400 yards away. He was 200 yards from the fence on his side I was the same on my side, side hilling across open ground. He immediately started coming my way. I was courious so I started moving his direction. I have a feeling it might have gone western had he not come up against that fence.

Nice looking bucks. The Angus bull is certainly giving you the stink eye.

Nice looking bucks. Had same situation with a red angus bull once except we were both in the same field. Cousin's neighbor was pasturing his cattle on their property and had this bull that would try to confront you. One of the farm hands told me if he tries anything just shoot him. Was during buck season but nothing happened as I cut a WIDE path around him as he turned 360 watching me the whole time. I didn't want to shoot him, anyway, figured he be too tuff and couldn't load in the truck:D

How long do the horns need to be on a bull to "harvest" it in Oregon? Yeah, that fence doesn't look all that substantial. Nice to see the bucks, though.

That Oklahoma Moose is a fine looking specimen.

Back in the day I’d wonder how he bucks and want to try him.
