Great shooting!
You have a winning combo there.

So, with three pictures you were intending to write a novelette? Very nice; that has to be gratifying.

I had a very nice right-handed set up but then lost some vision in my right eye so I decided to switch to a left-handed rifle after fumbling cost me a large buck two years ago.

I was having trouble locating a left-handed rifle that I was interested in. Then one day I was browsing Cabela's website and found this one listed in Hamburg, PA. The price was far less than a normal custom rifle. I drove down and bought it.

After shooting it a little bit I discovered that it wasn't properly blueprinted and returned it (in person, with an appointment) to Remington. Remington treated me very well and replaced the receiver (free of charge). They provided test targets demonstrating it passed their accuracy tests.

The price was right. The service was excellent.

Here is a link to their webpage for this rifle.

You got lucky. My experience with Remington has been the worst!

Very nice! That sorta shooting has to be pleasing. Awesome combo. Hard to beat a 270 and a 130..

I am happy to hear you had such great luck with Remington. They can make some accurate rifles.

Dan, great shooting!

That's tight for 400 yards. Real tight. The .270 has plenty of zip to take care of business out at 400+ yards as well.

Glad that rifle is working out so well for you. Factory ammo? Wow... Nice!

Looks to me like you're ready for a western pronghorn & mule deer hunt!

Guy,

I wish I could. I am afraid that my western hunt days are over. The last few financial down turns in the US economy has cost me dearly. I am afraid that I am limited to hunting whitetails on my own place.

However, I might consider trading a hunt with a western landowner who would like a chance at a whitetail. Last year my friends son took a 10 point that gross scored 141, as well as others. Two years ago we took two nine points, as well as others. I have 270 acres, permanent blinds, stands, and food plots. Just a thought......

That sounds like a great trade. Your area is spot on in good deer country..
