First off thoughts and prayers to this mans family and friends.
I hope this link works.

He was a very avid hunter and quite familiar with the area, it's really a sad end. Many of us in the Alberta hunting community heard about him missing on Sat. and was hoping for a safe return. The weather was bad and hampered SAR's efforts . Stay safe out there!

Always a sad affair when a hunter is attacked and/or killed by the large predators. I do pray peace for his family.

That is a real sad outcome for all involved. This is exactly why grizzlies need to be hunted so they keep their fear of man although in this particular case there was probably nothing that would have changed things. It could happen to anyone, grizzlies protecting a kill are a very dangerous thing.

I read about this tragedy the night before last. I have been praying for his family that our Lord takes away their sorrow and anxiety during this time of grieving.

Blessings,
Dan
