he was about 40 yds. away and it was messy. so not sure I would post it anyway.

210 GR. .308.

little over kill but you take' em as you get' em.

There is no overkill when you want something dead.

No such thing as over kill.
There is no replacement for displacement. 8)

I'm no expert.

but stepped it out to 300YDS to day and used "strelok" to get my minutes and shot a about an inch low pretty consistent.

walked it out to 400 yds. and was about an inch and a half low consistent, once again im not an expert.

I will tell you I shot my best 300 yd. group with it today

Nice work yellow dog. Sounds like you have a good load.

Thanks for the info Yellow Dog, mind me asking what powder you're running and what velocity you're getting with the 210 ABLR?

started with re 22 and had good results.

I am using IMR 4064 58 gr and have been very consistent @ 2700 fps.

I stuck with this load because it fell in my lap, I loaded 3 shells with it along with about 5 other "recipes" it was the last of the day, shot a 1/2 " group .

next day loaded several up with that load to see where they hit @ 200yds and they were still tight so I'm sticking with it. wish it was faster but I like the way it shoots.

went to 500 to day and was impressed. Will be interesting to see what others come up with.

I am working on a load for the .30/.378 will let you know what I find. I think the bullet will excel on this plat form

side note is 200 bullets go awful fast when your playing.

Provided there is no wind tomorrow morning I'm heading out to the ranch to shoot at 700 yds.

will let you know what happens.

Any one have pointers or anything they would like to know or see done a certain way?

"wish I could find a job doing this way to much fun"

Pics or it didn't happen !! Lol. Easiest way to post a pic is to get a photobucket account, upload photos then copy and paste the image code. If your using a phone you need the photobucket app , upload and copy paste image code.
If the mods have a bit of give on the gore photos I've got one with the 300 wm and a 165 AB at 250'ish yards from last fall. It would be cool to compare the damage.

its pretty gory so I think morally I will pass.

but I would be willing to email you a pic. so you could compare.

you never know who is looking!

so with the before mentioned load leaving the barrel @ 2700 fps shooting over chroony number one and setting chroony number 2 @ 300 yds. my average vol. was 2945.

hope that helps.

I will tell you that it a little scary shooting at your machine @ 300 yds. not a real big target.

hope someone can let me know if this tells me any thing

Yellow Dog, just busting on you, but if those bullets are really gaining 245FPS at 300 yards, you have a hot number!

Thank you for the test though.
