Was just wondering which ya'll prefer for deer hunting? I use to shoot the nosler partion and really like it for itt's stopping power. But I prefer a protective tip. I'm shooting a 25.06 and 300 win mag.

For deer in either of those I would prefer a BT.I have never used the E-tip however. For any thing bigger, I would stick to the 300 and partitions. I have some AB's I will be using in a 7MM but I haven't personally killed deer with that yet either. :?

I would use the 110 gr AB in your 25-06 and 180 gr AB in the 300 Win Mag.

The ABs will give you good performance without a doubt. I used 160 grain Accubonds in my 7mm WSM for the past two years. It has taken several whitetail and several mule deer each year without a hitch. I wouldn't hesitate to use it on elk or moose. In the case of the 25-06 and/or the 300 WM, you would anticipate good performance with the AB. I can't say that I have used the Etip yet, though I hope to change that by this coming Fall. My experience with TSX bullets in the 300 WSM and in the 7mm RM, however, would lead me to feel quite comfortable using an Etip in your rifles.

+1 with JD, could have said it any better !

115gr B-tip wouldn't be too bad of choice for white-tail out of the 25-06 either.

Thanks, I've been reloading the 25.06 with ab 110gr. Been kind of hard to find 30cal 180gr ab. Everybody sold out. Have not checked cabelas this week yet.
