Adjusting factory seating depth

Has anyone ever tried to adjust the seating depth of their factory ammo, in order to seek better accuracy? I understand that there are some risks involved, but did it help, or not ?

Depending upon whether it was crimped... it may or may not be an easy thing to do. If you can move things around easily and know how to set bullets so they're not in your lands there's no reason not to.
