Jim, I wished I had one of those. Mine is a paperback book, but still a great book for any Winchester fanatic..

Gerry..... It's okay buddy. I still have a M700 Whelen.. It keeps me humble..

Scotty, I did not know that they published this book in paperback? Mine is leather hard bound. My greatest book treasure, ever more than my JOC books. I sold most of the JOC books during a JOC frenzy about 1997-1999. I would much rather have the Winchester book. Blasted books from the 1950's and 1960's are getting expensive now. Even the paperback Frank D. Haas, Bolt Action Rifles is expensive.

There is a Renneberg, Model 94 Winchester book that I want but the thing is reprinted now! I had one but my ex-wife kept it in the divorce. She doesn't know a Winchester from third base!

Scotty
In my case

your carrying coals to NewCastle
preaching to the choir
watching fox News, just for the news

I could have just said---+1

That would be a great book to read Scotty :) Love that old stuff.

Charlie,

That Bolt Action Rifles book is awesome. I need to look for a more current version that covers the newer stuff if it exists. Like Frank said the original M70 trigger was probably the best trigger ever built. Simple easy to adjust and foolproof.
