I think there will be a fair rise in 270 Winchester shooters with the new bullet. With the ability to run a 150 at 2900 or so, that really puts the 270 Winchester back into the LR game. It has been kinda overshadowed by the 7mm's, but this kinda breathes some life back into the 270 Win. I am very excited to see what they do in my 270 WSM as well. They should be screamers..

Looks like they will work in the standard 1 in 10 twist 270 barrel, time will tell how well they will shoot. In your 270 WSM at 3100 fps they should be pretty amazing.

I think so to Gerry. Right now, I run the 150 BT and PT at a touch over 3100 without issues. Can't imagine the ALR's with less bearing surface will run slower. As long as they are accurate, they should really make the 270WSM and Win better than they already are. I am pretty excited to do the load work for them. Might have to get a new bag of brass to keep the loads separated..
